Building a 1990s Urban Action Adventure
The first production note on movement, pressure, and the city language behind Block Wildin.
Movement First
Block Wildin starts with a simple rule: the city should feel like it is pushing back. Running, vaulting, stopping, and turning all need weight because the camera is cinematic but the player still needs immediate control.
Pressure Without Noise
Police pressure is not just a flashing light. It is distance, sound, blocked routes, tight alleys, and the feeling that every shortcut has a cost.
The City as a System
The current prototype focuses on rain-slick streets, under-track corridors, brick cut-throughs, and pockets of temporary safety. The goal is to make traversal readable while keeping every block tense.
